On Thursday June 28 premiere was held on Mount FAULT. While the City Sleeps, based on texts by renowned psychiatrist and Chilean playwright Marco Antonio de la Parra, and presented by the Theatre Company Calato

The work, lasting approximately 45 minutes, with two actors on stage, where the word and physical action marked the essence of the composition of the characters. The assembly, minimalist features and avant-garde elapses account only the two male characters who shape the backbones of the story.
A simple workflow and easy to read - but no less profound - gives us a chilling message of what is likely to cause the fault in the conduct of human beings. A detective and a murderer, in roles in which the inherent characteristics of the social title, vary and are shown both in one as in the other: from detective to murderer, the accuser to the accused, the accused judge and vice versa.

direction and scenic design is by Karen Mena, actress Class of 2005 of the Theatre School at the University of the Sea, which begins a path in theater direction. The cast is made up of Raúl González as "detective" and Antonio Hinojosa as "the Younger".

SUCCESSFUL PREMIERE THEATRE IN VALPARAISO

This Friday May 25, 2007, in the Andes room Mauri Cultural Center Theater, will premiere this new regional theater production entitled "The handles of Cain", the Cuban playwright and 2002 national prize for literature in this country, Abelardo Estorino.

The premiere was held with a broad framework of public and well received. The work lasted approximately 47 minutes. The excellent technical ground that the Andes has theater for theatrical performances.

This assembly is in charge of the theater company "Prekario" and its functions will be extended until Saturday June 23, 2007, from Thursday to Saturday at 20:30 hrs. Cuban drama


IN VALPARAISO

Abelardo Estorino is one of the most important Cuban playwrights and prolific of recent times. Born in Union de Reyes (Matanzas) in 1925. He is the author of classic works in the Cuban scene as theft of pig, die in the story and vague rumors. In 1961 wins the contest Houses of the Americas with the work written for theater theft the pig.
His works are represented in Chile, Spain, England and the United States.
His drama is characterized in that the characters speak in the scene as people everyday. Estorino, who also owns the National Prize for Literature in 1992, has become an author needed to Cuban theater. He was awarded the Order Felix Varela in 1995 and The National Theatre Award 2002.

Los Mangos of Cain, written in 1965, is metaphor for the history of why Abel was murdered by his brother, plus the strange relationship between Eva and their children and the intrusive presence of God in the most unexpected moments.

There is a fine humorous play about Biblical myth, but without falling into vulgarity, and also referred to the Almighty that may be an allusion to the power of a supreme ruler, that they have and are still rife in America. Hence its importance for viewers to enjoy. Abelardo Estorino

gives us a little masterpiece, full of caustic humor, who runs meticulous realism and escapes into the realms of the parody and myth. A one-act play, bright and brief, concise and effective parliament, traveled by an intense mood, sometimes corrosive, with a distressing irony that borders on sarcasm, and where the characters are built with quick strokes, accurate, they are fabulous (in the first meaning of the word), and at the same time deeply human. Parody characters and deeply tangible.

address this assembly is charged with Alexis Páez, and the cast is made up of Carlos Arancibia, like Adam, Begoña Peña, as Eva, Erik Aliaga, as Abel, and Alexis Paez in the role of Cain. It was designed by Ricardo Rodriguez, music by Cuban musician living in our region, "Mr. Simon" and the lighting and sound are by Esteban Navarro.


PREKARIO THEATRE COMPANY. WISE NEW THEATRE OF THE REGION.

PreKario Theater is a drama group formed graduates by actors to drama school at the University of the Sea With a short but intense career, where research and experimentation are key part of his creative process, the company has developed his poetic themes linked to social and authors reflect that trend.
His works are: "Schweyk World War II" the German playwright Bertold Brecht, which was performed successfully in different venues throughout the region.
"Fidel / 1971" is the name of the second group's proposal, which is a collective creation inspired by the visit of Fidel Castro held in Chile in 1971. This work was created with records news compiled from that visit, where evidence of workers and university students reflect socio-political conditions that existed at the time of your visit. Theatre

The play begins one of the many 4 nights in which parishioners who call themselves "the champs" come together again in the bar to drink and gamble Chunga. Try as always to coax the secret to Chunga's what happened with the Mechita, pretty girl of ways. It disappeared and was never heard from her since the last time was in the bar accompanied by her "partner", the Josefino.

Since they could not get word to the Chunga about the mystery of the Mechita ... invent it, dream it, you fantasize ....

adaptation and implementation in scene story "By nightfall, the Chilean writer Poli Delano, responds to our concerns and concern for the facts and events that currently happen and we can not stop to watch, much less think of how and why we are reaching a point so end in our lives, we see every day in cities, towns, districts, etc. Around the world, there is an increase of atrocities, which attacks and destroys man to man and nature without any compassion. Already man becomes indifferent, riddled with anomalies and diseases caused by ourselves, where schizophrenia, prostration, denial, despair and disillusionment are fierce crushing of our humanity more and more distant and lost.

The story "The Fall of Night" is, in our view, a sieve of these issues, across the two main characters and José Albino. It is they who in the end we represent each one of us, are two beings prostrated by war, showing the gaps and solitude to those who are subject to an extreme. However, these two beings are able to communicate through a set of code words, assimilated to the problem of communicating the Theatre of the Absurd.

The humor is implied in the assembly, but it's a black humor, showing a stark reality, stark, with which the public can get to interact through playful axes of the characters and history.

Schizophrenia characters the progression stage and acting that took us to a fatal outcome, where Joseph is a victim of Albino.

We take the audience to live through the assembly the ends of schizophrenia, creating atmospheres of dream and reality, life and death, causing and taking the viewer into states of calm and excitement, end to end, as if were part of history.

This work is a mixture of scenes and situations that speak all of the isolation and selfishness. Loving a critique of the conduct of human beings. Theatrical moments where the game raw, irreverence, the idea of \u200b\u200bnot taking everything "so seriously" and the desire for simplicity. Through various dramatic situations we find characters who love and hate.

The actresses are constantly on stage and the overall look is of dynamism, simplicity, musicality and colorful service of emotion and reflection.
This text inspired by Alejandro Jodorowsky, Chilean film director and writer. In 1953, at age 17, went to Paris to look for Marcel Marceau. He returned only in 1991. In almost 50 years, had not only found Marceau, who was a student and assistant, but returned as a multifaceted author of cult, celebrated for its theater, cinema and literature, as well as having earned an image of their guru research in the tarot, sacred texts and shamanism.


The premiere of this work was held November 3, 2006, with great success in the theater "The Circle" located on street Aldunate 1620, Victoria Square area, the center of Valparaiso. It remained in theaters until 12 the same month, making the entire season with a room full of people.

This work has highlighted the direction of national player Bastian Bodenhöfer, and national acts the outstanding actress Consuelo Holzapfel. The cast is completed by Calato Theatre Company, a company promising young career that already has to his credit with a prize for best regional work 2005, awarded by the circle of art critics of Valparaiso, and the selection to represent region Valparaíso Cultural Carnival in 2005. (With his first show "La Chunga").

The text is inspired by the French playwright Jean Genet, one of the most important playwrights of the last century in France. This author was one of the most provocative and rebellious of his time.

The Maids was released on August 18 in the theater "The Circle", and had two seasons of two weekends each to board again, but the successful presentations at the headquarters of the institute INACAP Valparaiso, presentation Viña del Mar headquarters of the Universidad Andrés Bello, the theater features Quilpue Velarde, and last December a lecture tour municipal theaters in Calama, Iquique and Arica. During the summer, he participated in the "3 º Encuentro de Teatro Independiente Porteño" in Valparaiso, and the cycle of Theater "In the PlayaReñaca the Theatre."
